CONGRATULATIONS TO THE COMMUNITY ON EXCEEDING OUR GOAL OF FUNDRAISING $50,000 FOR THE COVID-19 ROCHESTER INDIAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY FUND!!
While we have already hit the fundraising goal and are still accepting donations, our aim now is to make as much of an impact with these funds as possible. Volunteers are needed for both the Food Bank and Gown projects. Please consider submitting your name for volunteering and one of our coordinators will be in touch with you.

What Your Donations Have Created in Our Community Already!
We have had a wonderful initial response to the COVID-19 Rochester Indian American Fund Appeal and over $44,000 have been raised in less than a month! Check out the pictures on the left of various activities you made possible in the last month with your donations – from medical gown creation for essential workers to food bag filling and dropoff to a local food cupboard!
Provide Food and Groceries
AnnaDhana, or the giving of food, is one of the common values across the diversity of cultures in India. The Indian community engages in this service as a cultural practice and has ramped up these efforts during COVID-19.
Provide Personal Care and Household Items
One of big needs in our community is the need for household items such as toilet paper, cleaning supplies, paper products and other daily items. Even personal care items such as female sanitary products, toothbrushes, bath supplies and other toiletries are needed. Your donation will go toward supplying these essentials to those in need in our Greater Rochester community.
Provide PPE and Disinfectant Supplies
Many of our community members were quick put their skills and sewing machines to use and created hundreds of masks to help protect those in our community and on the frontlines. Your donation toward the Rochester Indian Community COVID-19 fund will help our community show its support beyond our individual activities and provide PPE and disinfectant supplies to those doing critical work in the community.
Create a positive impact today!
