2022 ICC Banquet Testimonials and Reflections!

“I wanted to thank you for inviting me to speak at the ICC banquet last night.  It was truly an unexpected honor, and an incredible opportunity to reconnect with the wonderfully diverse Rochester Indian community.  My whole family was re-inspired by the young people again, which would not have happened without all your hard work to organize the banquet.

Every aspect of the event was so thoughtfully done: the cultural program, the interviews conducted by the RIT museum program fellows, the flowers on the tables, the posters with quotes from the past ICC leaders, the inclusion of the food pantry.  I was especially moved by the kind introduction, and your gift of the “Gutsy Women” book, which was so beautifully wrapped [by an ICC 3rd generation young lady]. My mom loves the wrapping paper and plans to use it for a project. The care you have taken for the entire event was evident and I feel privileged to have taken part.

Your initiative and vision for the ICC are truly impressive. I wish you much success. I hope we can continue to be in touch.  Thank you for allowing me to contribute to the evening, and for warmly welcoming me back home.”

“Great event and a great beginning to 2022!”

Congratulations to the entire board and the volunteers – great event and a great beginning for 2022. Thanks also for all the work that went into sustaining the ICC over these last two years.

“One of the best banquets I have attended”

I wish to thank you for the [2022] ICC banquet yesterday, one of the best I have attended.  The details were meticulously planned and executed.  I wish to extend my appreciation to all those who put in the time and effort to make the event a great success.  The posters of past vision statements from Chairpersons were especially unique and effective.  I would like to recommend that these should be on display permanently . . . in iCC.
